  • Designed for deployment in a variety of environments in which point-to-multi-point communication is needed, the NanoStation AC 5 GHz airMAX ac Radio from Ubiquiti Networks offers enhanced connectivity options. This radio comes equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet networking interface and supports 10/20/30/40/50/60/80 MHz channel bandwidths. Installation is simple, thanks to the included pole-mount kit, while the UV resistant polycarbonate enclosure allows the airMAX ac radio to be installed in nearly any environment.

Unlike standard Wi-Fi protocol, Ubiquiti’s Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) airMAX protocol allows each client to send and receive data using pre-designated time slots scheduled by an intelligent AP controller.
This time slot method eliminates hidden node collisions and maximizes airtime efficiency, so airMAX technology provides performance improvements in latency, noise immunity, scalability, and throughput compared to other outdoor systems in its class.
